The sales people are good and easy to get ahold of. Now the financial department is a nightmare. We were told we had 5 days to bring in a check from our credit union to take over the loan so that’s what we did. The sales guys took the check and financial department refused to take it because they wrote up the contract incorrectly. It took over a week and me calling the corporate office before this was taken care of. Financial department alone is the reason we will not want yo buy another car from them

Let me start off by saying I have been in the auto industry for over 20 years, including having owned my own shop and being heavely involved in the Toyota world. I brought my car in for an engine code I already knew but didn't have time to address having to do with electrical setting off the engine light. I explained to them exactly what was going on and what had already been done and replaced and what to check out as I needed the light off to get the car smogged. They proceeded to tell me that I had to pay $1,600 to redo the same thing. They were wrong as upon doing so did not fix it. Upon failing a smog due to the light, they then tried telling me the car had to drive 50 miles to reset. This is not a thing as I very well explained to them, but to prove it, I drove 115 miles and brought the car right back. They THEN tried saying it had to be driven for a few days to reset the computer. Also NOT a thing! Its a simple clearing of codes and codes don't come back on unless there is an issue. So they kept the car to do more "tests" as the previous $1,600 dollars to replace what I already had plus $110 in failed smogs per them saying it was fine obviously didn't work. They then called me saying I had to spend another $3,000-$6,000 to fix another issue entirely that wasn't even present when I brought the car in!! I of course immediately pulled the car out of this dealership. Just absolutely appalled by how this was handled. Spent $1,600 to do the same thing that was already done as they "promised" the fix and then another $110 in failed smogs as they "promised" it was fine with no reimbursement for those lies and mishandlings and lied about other things. Strongly do not recommend this dealership.

This experience could have all been amazing but I have one major concern. I originally came to autonation when someone at Hardin GMC/BUICK tried to sell me a lemon with more than 5 pending recalls. When I called Sergio at autonation he was amazing! I told him what I was experiencing and he said to come down and he would pull the keys to a good reliable vehicle. I quickly drove there and he was waiting for me to test drive. He was incredible! His customer service kept me at that dealership. It wasn’t until we met Erik Makenzie in financing that our experience took a complete turn. He was so kind and generous until his sales pitch for the warranty began. Multiple times I apologized and explained that I just couldn’t afford it. He proceeded to tell me that it was the price of a cup of coffee a day and I told him it was bold of him to assume I can even afford that. When he wouldn’t take my no for an answer I told him that my husband also said it was out of my budget, to which he responded “get your husband on the line right now. If he’s a smart man he’ll know I’m offering you a good deal.” I almost got up and walked at at that instant but no, I needed this car. When I was firm and told him that it was MY car and that I would be the one responsible for paying for it and that my answer is no… he completely stopped looking at me. His kind and inviting demeanor turned into an awkward 10 minutes of him telling me to sign without even turning away from his computer. I’ve never felt so disrespected. It was very obvious that Sergio truly cared about customer service and Erik cared more about making his commission. These 3 stars are only for Sergio.

I took my car in for service and Ali was my service advisor. I’d give 0 stars if I could. He was horrible. He quoted me 2 hours and I told him in the very beginning that my number was wrong. He highlighted the correct number. Five hours went by and I still didn’t get a call. I tried to call him multiple times and no response. The cashier even said she would try to locate him and give me a call back. No response either. I ended up driving over there myself. I pulled up and Ali was hanging out outside with his hands in his pockets just talking. Well no wonder I couldn’t get a call back. He walked over to me and said oh you didn’t get my text? Your car is ready. Well obviously I didn’t get your text when I told you my number was wrong. I didn’t get a sorry from him or anything. I drive off and had to go back the next day because my maintenance required light was still on and I didn’t get a sticker on my window when to return. Yes, I know the sticker is a minor thing, but it’s part of the experience and it helps me keep track of my next oil change. So again, horrible service from Ali and I will not be returning back to auto nation due to the service that I had.

Initially I inquired about a manual GR86 they had in stock. The markup was insanely high that I wrote this dealership off. However, they were wiling to come down in price after they weren't getting any takers. After working with Steven and providing quotes from other no markup dealerships, I was able to get that GR86 for no markup and only minimal dealer add ons. Steven was great to work with and it's always great chatting to a fellow car enthusiast. The buying process was straight forward and wasn't pressured into anything else. I'd shop here again if I was in the market for any Toyota.

AutoNation Cerritos came through for me big time. My sales rep Brian C. and the GM worked out a deal for me on a great new Tacoma when my Chevy died on me the night before. Brian was great and I got a fair no haggle deal from the dealership. They went out of their way to sell me a car and have me drive off the lot in a 2023 Taco. Great review for the GM and sales team. I'm not convinced the service department is on the same level. Called yesterday for a quote on labor to install a TRD suspension and never got a call back. Trying to spend more money with AutoNation.

Service was great in the beginning. Came in for 7am appointment. Got seen and told representative I will be waiting inside Phone number was verified and estimated time was given. I waited in the waiting room. When it came close to the time my car was supposed to be finished I gave it 15 more minutes (estimated time of competition 8-830). I waited until 845 to find the representative. I walked over to him and he stated my car was done over an hour a go and that he tired to call me several times. Not once have I had a missed call nor was a voice mail left on my phone. At this point I was upset knowing that the representative knew I was waiting inside. As a matter of fact the representative even came into the waiting room and talked to another customer. My suggestion for improving customer service is to go in and call your customer, let them know your car is ready. There was no apology.

Had questions about wheel alignment but was never given a straight answer. Car was purchased Aug.2021 and had 10,000 miles but was charged for wheel alignment. Asked if this was covered by warranty but manager just kept saying I needed that service yearly. I think he should have answered just yes or no and explained why.

Got my Toyota Corolla SE today! Steven and Paul are so nice, helpful and friendly! They helped me get my dream car and went out of their way to get me the correct cable for my car! Definitely recommend Steven and Paul when you’re looking for new car! HOWEVER, the guy named Jesus was not an unprofessional finance, he didn’t count the money in front of us nor did he invited us to witness while he was counting it! He said it was the policy! $400 went missing even though we already counted to double check beforehand !

I went to get my 50,000 mile service and had a list of necessary services from the owner's manual. The service representative gave me a printout of services that were not in the service manual that he "recommended" that added up to almost $2,000. I walked out and will go to another dealer who won't try to upsell me services that even Toyota doesn't include in their service manual. Beware of what is "recommended" verses what services your vehicle needs.

I flew in from Las Vegas to pick up my ?23 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off-road in Lunar rock. Juan the sales manager and Ricardo in sales were great! Kept me up to date as the truck went through the build process, shipping etc, and got a great deal too. Tom (GSM?) was very gracious as well when I arrived (before they even opened). Very bad experience, unfortunately not the first or only time. Staff lacked all customer service skills, displayed lack of motivation, and seemed unaware of status and quality of work done on vehicle. Received vehicle from scheduled maintenance with fluid levels low and ultimately a loss of confidence that any maintenance had been done.

Purchasing the car was smooth. Excellent salesman. However, going in for service, I did not have a good experience being the first time. I was told I was going to wait 1.5 hours to get something installed. Apparently it took almost 4 hours waiting in the lobby. The advisor honestly told me, they made a mistake. I was there from 8am to 1pm. Ridiculous. Not even offered if I was thirsty or needed something for the inconvenience. Other dealers acknowledge you. Not here. I hope I don't experience this again. Investing a good amount of money of a car and getting poor customer service is not acceptable.

Worst experience ever at a dealership. I was lied to on multiple occasions. I called the dealer about a truck on Monday, the salesman told me it wouldn’t be available until Wednesday, on Tuesday I called just out of curiosity to find out the truck has been available all along and he just wanted to line the sale up to his next working day. We drive down to buy the truck, the next salesman brings it around and we start the test drive, meanwhile some lady shows up and starts looking at the car while I have the keys in my hand. The salesman tells me don’t worry, it’s first come first serve and we have privileges. We get back from the test drive and they take the keys back, while we’re filling out the app he tells me sorry while we were on the test drive the lady bought the car. Horrible experience all around, no sympathy, no desire to fix anything, just hey let me see if I can find you another car.

On Friday, April 28th, I had an appointment to have my Camry serviced as part of Toyota’s Toyota Care they offer you when you buy the car brand new (2 year or 25000 miles ). I was checked in with Paul. He seemed pleasant in the beginning. I had a few questions for him and he answered them. He told me the appointment would take 2 hours to 2 ½ hours and he would call me when the car was ready. Man was he lying. My appointment was 840 AM and arrived at 830 AM to get checked in. I got to the 3 hour mark at 11:40AM and still received no phone call. So I went outside to look because I was getting restless. When I looked in his office he was not there. The gentlemen inside the office said he was at lunch. So I gave him the benefit of the doubt. Man was I wrong about that. Now it had been close to 3 hours and 15 minutes, 12noon. I asked another sales lady, a white lady wearing a blue shirt working in office #14 if she could help me. She told me I had to wait for the sales person who checked me in and couldn’t give me an ETA. Oddly she told me to go to the cashier’s office inside and they could give me an ETA. So I did and the cashier person told me they don’t. I figured because I didn’t see any of them helping the customers who were waiting for their cars to be serviced. I just thought it was strange. So basically she was also useless and did not offer to help me. So I went back to where Paul office was (#12) and asked the guy who sharing the office with him. I should have asked for his name because he should BE COMMENDED for being the one to help me. Lazy Paul still had not returned from lunch and was nowhere in site. He said he was about to go to lunch but when I explained I had been there too long, he ended up helping me out. He found MY CAR WAS FINSIHED AND had me report to the waiting area where people pick up their car. My total time at Toyota from start to finish was 3 hours and 45 minutes. This is totally unacceptable and I would like to file a complaint because if I had waited for Paul, I would have been well past 4 hours waiting for my car knowing it was already finished. God know how long I would still be there, now 4hours plus for a oil change and tire rotation. And you wonder why people do not go the to the dealer for this kind of stuff. Lazy people like Paul would have made me late in picking my child from school this day. Plus I thought you guys wash the car as part of the toyota care? If so, my car was not washed. I am glad to say I will never return to this place and will remind everyone of how bad was my experience was. Auto nation needs to do better job of hiring lazy people like Paul who have no respect or consideration for your time. I will never stop being a Toyota customer but I will definitely not give this place my business ever again. Thanks for nothing Auto Nation

We had made an appt with Cristian to purchase a new Highlander. This young man was very knowledgeable about this vehicle from front to back. Any questions we had he answered or showed us how to use what we were asking about. He was very courteous. We purchase the vehicle and just love it. My service rep, Claudia, was professional, friendly, and prompt. She kept me updated with everything going on with my car. I did need a serious repair and it was costly, but I was happy to have taken to Toyota. Unfortunately, the part that was placed was defective and needed to be replaced again. I know things like this happen, but what I was surprised at, that Toyota didn't offer me a rental car and that the defective part was noticeable when I drove it 30 feet. The repair was a wheel bearing. Shouldn't the mechanic test drive the car a little ways just to make sure everything is running as it should. Toyota is the place I will continue to go, but it would be nice for management to look into this. Thank you.

Service department is extremely slow. Granted this dealiership is usually busy but even when I made a reservation for service I had to wait a long time. I am constantly disappointed with their attention to detail. Scheduled service for my car dropped it off the afternoon before my oil change… I live less than 2 miles away. First upon arriving into the service bay, I waited over ten minutes until the 1 person could check me in… One would expect a shuttle service but apparently the driver had left for the day at 2pm on Friday. So I had to Uber home. I received a call promptly Sat a morning, after Ubering back, no one greeted me and directed me to complete the transaction and get my car. I found a cashier who seemed quite annoyed when I asked her if she could process my transaction . I paid for my service and then waited (along with 5 others) outside for the 1 lot person to bring my car around. No car wash… lastly when I got in my car. The radio was set to a high volume to a Spanish radio station I never listen to. In addition, my seat was moved so far forward that I hit my head getting in…. With all this being said. Service was performed….. it’s just every detail this service department misses on..

The good thing about Cerritos Autonation is that the sales did not stop after we purchased it. They will follow-through and see if we were satisfied. You need to ask for Daniel “Danny” Solorzano by name. I called over 30 Toyota dealerships and Danny was the only sales associate who was extremely honest and up front. He got us a great deal and we were able to put a deposit ($1000 refundable) for the exact car we wanted over the phone. He even answered my questions and called me on his day off to give me an update on the car delivery status. Especially as a woman, I feel like the car buying experience was seamless. Good experience just did not like that fact that they try to sell you a extra insurance for bumper to bumper and maintenance and they give you a price you agree to it and they when you are ready to sign and check every single charge they charge you a different price and when you tell them about it they said there is nothing they can do because they have sent it to back. They try to tell me that they give you discounts on registration fees. When I have ask at the beginning what was total cost with taxes and everything else . So before they sent your stuff to back make sure you requested a feed of every single charge. That?s only issue

Showed up to my appointment time a few minutes early and we had to stand around with workers everywhere but no one acknowledged us. I had to go ask someone for help and I was pushed around to several people and areas. I finally said that I was a teacher and needed to get to work because I have a classroom full of kids counting on me to show up on time. I got attitude from the worker but she finally helped me check in. This had been almost 20 min after my appointment time had started. When I left, they said they would call when my car was ready for pickup so I waited. Then I get a phone call at almost 5pm asking if I was going to ever come pick up my car. I told them I have been waiting on a call per the conversation in the morning when it was ready. On top of everything else, I when I got in my car, the steering wheel and shifter were filthy. I wipe my steering wheel down several times a week so to see black finger prints all over was disgusting. I will never be using AutoNation Toyota dealership for any services again. Beyond disappointing.

My service advisor was kind and receptive to everything. She found my service plan without me having to ask and even tried to get my service sped up due to having difficulty being able to pick up my vehicle. When the service was unable to be sped up due to normal operations, my advisor called to inform me and was very apologetic. Pickup was extremely seamless - my advisor had my packet ready for pickup and had me driving out in my car within 10 minutes of me returning to her desk.

The staff member who helped me checked my records and informed me that I didn't need the oil change yet because my car was on a 10,000 mile oil change schedule so they just did the repair. Would never return to this dealership again in the future. It's only because they had the truck I wanted in stock, that I put up with them. Condescending salesman. Ricardo Acuna, Nicholas (THE WORST) and Thomas Cruz. They have leverage since the vehicles are in stock that're difficult to find right now. In my case, the Tacoma. So much more I could say. But, the salesman, the negotiation, and overall buying process was unlike anything I've experienced in the past. It’s already scary enough to visit a maintenance dealer and when you get an estimate on your maintenance to be over 1,200 dollars is terrifying. Not even a proper explanation of what these “maintenance services mean”. And when I got my car serviced the “maintenance alert” wasn’t removed, nor was I suggested maintenance needed for my car. They just give you a piece of paper with a vocabulary you’re not used too and send you a picture of a and I’m filter and you’re sent off.

Brought tundra in for a new visor since brand new one wasn’t installed from factory correctly and also for a trim piece that’s installed under the rear passenger window that is missing something because it’s just flopping around. Brought truck in for 5,000 mile service, told service about my concerns and they said they had to order the parts and that I need to come back for a return trip in a few days to have them installed. Sure, ok, no problem brought it back when they told me and waited 2 hours for them to install visor only. They tell me that I would have to come back for trim piece because either it was never ordered, broke while being installed or they just want to charge Toyota for more time. They are are not very truthful and to me that’s the worst thing for anyone to be, not very forthcoming.

My sales advisor, Gregory Hamman, made the buying process very efficient. I was provided with multiple updates on the status after reserving the car and got the car within the timeframe it was expected. Not too pleased with the repair though. The power of my car has died multiple times within the past 4 months of purchasing it due to wrong installation of the dash cam and has had to be taken into the dealer multiple times for repair to be rewired.

I made appointment to service my vehicle. when i arrived and park in the appointment lane, i was vehicle #1. in the walk-in lane there was 3 cars that arrived after me. i stood there for about 10-15minutes till someone helped me. no big deal... after service adviser checked me in he stated it would be about 3hrs. i ask what is the point of making an appointment. he reply its not jiffy lube. good answer. with that statement he follow with we make multiple appointments with the same time. i told him cancel my service, i just don't have the time. when i retrieve my vehicle, car #3 from walk ins lane was getting service for oil change.

I was getting the regular maintenance done on my Tacoma. When they are done I get the vehicle back and start driving when I enter the freeway I notice the tire on the drivers side gets wobbly and it flies out onto the freeway instantly. They forgot to tie up the lug nuts on my vehicle how does that happen. Much worse could have happened if I made it further onto the freeway. Do not recommend if you want your tires flying out on the freeway.

Took my truck for service today that was covered. (Tire rotation fluids top off etc) My service advisor tried to sell me alignment for $160. I declined since I have mechanics in my family and would tell me if I needed the work done. Just left that family members home and said I do NOT need an alignment ! Before my truck was ready to be picked up, service advisor called stating I had a nail In my tire, didn't say which one. Only said it's $55 to patch. I said no since Americas Tire patches for free. Went to pick up my truck. Cashier was rude who I had to get my paper work from. She had no one In line and was the only one there . So I asked are you available? She said to wait in line (no one was even in the line area but me) and she'll get to me when she's ready. RUDE. My service advisor didn't even talk to me even though I wanted to ask where was the nail so I can know if it's fixable or not. The porter was even rude! I'm one to tip, even if it was a short walk to get my car, he didn't hand me my keys or even acknowledge me when he brought the truck. Just got out and walked away. I took my truck to Americas tire right away, and waited 2 hours just for them to tell me TOYOTA of Cerritos LIED! They checked all my tires, dunked them and found no nail! I called to let Toyotas service manager know and of course was sent to voicemail. I asked for a direct line to reach the manager at and the receptionist said she couldn't give me that # she can only transfer me. The employees at this location are disgusting. More than likely because I am a woman, you try to take advantage of me by selling me stuff I don't need or even LIE about a nail in my tire. I will never set foot in your dealer again. Two weeks later and still my tires pressure is perfectly fine after inspecting the tire myself they claimed to have a nail, still NO nail in site!!!

Took my truck for service today that was covered. (Tire rotation fluids top off etc) My service advisor tried to sell me alignment for $160. I declined since I have mechanics in my family and would tell me if I needed the work done. Just left that family members home and said I do NOT need an alignment! Before my truck was ready to be picked up, service advisor called stating I had a nail In my tire, didn't say which one. Only said it's $55 to patch. I said no since Americas Tire patches for free. Went to pick up my truck. Cashier was rude who I had to get my paper work from. She had no one In line and was the only one there . So I asked are you available? She said to wait in line (no one was even in the line area but me) and she'll get to me when she's ready. RUDE. My service advisor didn't even talk to me even though I wanted to ask where was the nail so I can know if it's fixable or not. The porter was even rude! I'm one to tip, even if it was a short walk to get my car, he didn't hand me my keys or even acknowledge me when he brought the truck. Just got out and walked away. I took my truck to Americas tire right away, and waited 2 hours just for them to tell me TOYOTA of Cerritos LIED! They checked all my tires, dunked them and found no nail! I called to let Toyotas service manager know and of course was sent to voicemail. I asked for a direct line to reach the manager at and the receptionist said she couldn't give me that # she can only transfer me. The employees at this location are disgusting. More than likely because l am a woman, you try to take advantage of me by selling me stuff I don't need or even LIE about a nail in my tire. I will never set foot in your dealer again.

So ilI schedule my car for 50k miles maintenance in Lexus Cerritos but was told that they cant do my car because the autonation plan that i have is cheaper than what they are charging for service which is weird to me because ive been doing my service in this location for the last two year using the autonation care plan i bought. So I was so stressed because i took a day off at work for that appointment and ended up turn down by the lexus dealership. I decided to walk in to toyota Cerritos and asked if they can help me out. Which they did and finished the service in less than 2 hours. They really saved me that day as i was so became stressful from the experience i just had from Lexus who has a terrible manager and service reps. Lexus dealership was so greedy of money and was so glad toyota have some very helpful and friendly service reps that helped me out that day. I went there to get my usual fluid check-up and Miguel found a nail in my tire, I was directed to go back to where I brought my tires only to find out that they were not going to replace it they only wanted to do a patch. While at the dealer I was reminded that I had a tire warranty, so which would cover me if the place where I brought the tires would not replace it. I returned back to the dealer, Miguel put in a claim and my tire was replace free of charge.

I bought a new Toyota Camry on Jan. 7, 2023. I called ahead and Joshua Lewis had the car ready for me to test drive when I got to the dealership. This car was good but did not come with floor mats. Sales manager did not want to sell me floor mats at cost. After I agreed to the offer, it still took a long time to do the paperwork. Overall the experience was good except for the wait was too long and no water or coffee was even offered while I was waiting.

I had the most wonderful experience selling my car at this dealership yesterday! Not only did they offer me several thousands more than another popular used car dealership, SAMILA ALEMIC really took great care of me. She called immediately after I submitted my online request and explained the process to me in detail. We arranged an onsite appointment so she can give me a guaranteed offer after they visually inspect my vehicle. They took care of contacting my lender to get the payoff, filled out all of the DMV transfer paperwork, and even gave me a release of liability in case any traffic charges come up after I sell them my car. And since I had equity, I left there with check in hand! Their process is very efficient and I would work with SAMILA again any day! If I could give her 100 stars I would. She has a customer for life!!!

I made an appointment for 730am to get and oil change and tire rotation. When I checked in , I was informed that it might take about two hours. Long story short , my car was ready right before 12 noon. while sitting in the waiting area , I saw people come and go that came after me for an oil change and that was fine but their representatives would go out and talk to the customers and update them . My representative never came out for any updates, I didn’t see her until it was time to check out. She didn’t even give me a rundown on what was done , recommendations etc. I have been there before and never had an issue. It was a very disappointing experience.

If I could give zero stars I would. Never coming to this dealership again for servicing. My first time was a good experience. This second time I came just for an oil change on my car and after 5 hours had to take it off the lot leaking oil, which it was not doing before I took it in. The second I came in they tried to upsell me on $1000 worth of "scheduled maintenance", then tried to charge me $1200 to change my oil pan, gasket, and drain plug because it was stripped. Needless to say took it to a local mechanic and they quoted me $400 for the repair. The local mechanic also told me they didn't even put back the gasket which is incredibly dangerous for my car. Scammer dealership I sadly wanted to trust.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. This was my go to Dealership but after my last two services i am done with Toyota Cerritos. They did a recall last year for my3rd break light and it failed at 14 months and they wanted to charge me over $1300 to replace it. It was improperly installed and the tech broke the post on it torquing it too much which led to it cracking all of the way around and falling off. They told me it was my fault. I bought a replacement and had my mechanic install it for a $400 and as soon as he got the headliner down the broken post fell out and the cover fell off. It was 100% Toyota Of Cerritos that improperly did the recall on it. I called Toyota Customer Care and they told me that the Service manager would call me within 1 business day. Its been 5 and I have called 5 times to talk to the Service manager but she is too busy or just will not talk to me. I just wanted to show the pictures and videos that my Mechanic took documenting the failed light and to see if they would at least hear me out but no call, no email, Nothing. Their service has gone way down over the last 2 years and I will not be taking my Tacoma there ever again. I have bought 2 brand new Tacoma's from AutoNation and I will not be buying a 3rd from them or Toyota of Cerritos period. I would not recommend Toyota of Cerritos to anyone and I will not be going back there ever.

I was in search of the new Toyota Sequoia TRD Pro which is super hard car to find right now. I spoke with Brayan Vargas and he said the one they had coming in was already pre-sold but if something happened he would let me know. Well something happened and the previous buyer passed up the vehicle and Brayan reached out immediately. He let me know that the car was available if I wanted it. I jumped at the opportunity. The car arrived one New Year's Eve later than expected and the service department had left already for the day. Brayan knew how badly I wanted the car and asked one of the service guys to come back in and inspect the vehicle so I can take it home right away. He went above and beyond to get me in the vehicle as soon as he could. Will definitely recommend working with Brayan and the team at Autonation Cerritos.

Brought my Sienna in to check out the radiator per my mechanic's recommendation. It turned out I need a new radiator (might leak). Fortunately, my extended warranty covered the replacement. To my surprise, Autonation, a Toyota dealer, doesn't have the part in stock. Have to leave the car there 3 days before getting the new radiator installed, but that's 2 days ahead of schedule. Happy!

I'm not real happy trying to just call and get a service appointment. I waited on hold for 20 minutes. Your dealership had ordered a part of a passenger seat that was malfunctioning . Then told me that it couldn't be done now and they needed 3 days because it had to be sent out. It is extremely hard for my wife to give up her car for more than 3 days. Finally when we did, you have now lost the parts and of course they are now on back order. I bought this van from you. and I thought I could get a little more effort on your service people part. I guess I will try and find another dealership that can help me with the warranty problem. And please, in the event you do even respond to this complaint, don't blame COVID. That's no excuse.

I’ve been mislead and tricked! During the purchasing process, a list of unnecessary add on were added to the car price. I did not want any of those add on. I was able to have them remove except for the dash cam. I was told by their sale associate Kasandra Barraza that the dash cam has already been installed and $1995 charge for it can not be taken out. I did not want nor do I need the dash cam but since it was already installed, I agreed. A few days later, I’ve realized that there’s no dash cam in my car. I reached out to Kasandra and she apologized that it has not been installed and that she can get that installed or have it refunded. I ask for refund and she stated she will talked to her manager. The next day, she contacted me and said her manager will not refund the dash cam charge. I came into the dealership and spoke to the manager Tom and he gave me the run around saying they gave me a great deal on the car when everywhere else is marked up couple thousands and there’s a lot of people wanting to buy my car. That has nothing to do with this issue! Where’s the principle! I’ve been deceived that it was installed already and have no choice but to pay for it! He had me talk to the finance person Bijon who also said he can’t refund me the dash cam charge. Why can’t they refund me the money for the feature that I do not want to buy. Now I know their sale gimmick is to lie and get you to pay for something you don’t want! I told him I will sue and take them to court. He said I will not win with this big company with long list of lawyers working for them! They are crooks!!! See you in court!

I went to Toyota AutoNation because they had a few different types of cars I was looking for (ie Toyota Highlander, Kia Teluride, etc), and they had them in their inventory. Adam, our sales associate was very patient and prepared as he showed us each car, and he answered all of our questions. Ultimately, we ended up buying a Subaru Ascent, and I’m really happy with the purchase. The process was simple, quick, and easy. I’d buy another vehicle here.

I am missing owners manual and was promised they would get it to me. Still waiting for it. Hi Yesterday I noticed my truck leaking what appears to be oil? Sunday morning I crawled under the truck to put down some absorbent pads. I reached up and was able to unscrew the oil pan bolt with my fingers. It was extremely loose and obviously not tightened? Now I have a big oil stain on my driveway ??

Took my brand new 2022 Tundra V6 twin turbo in due to a glitch with the fuel gauge- as soon as it reached 3/4 of a tank it shot back up to a full tank. It has happened twice thus far, with a new vehicle I don’t want it to do it all especially when this vehicle was over $60,000. They were not able to fix or reset this due to the problem being very new to them but not new to the hundreds of reviews on the internet that says it’s happening to them as well. I knew in my heart that they weren’t going to be able to repair this problem but I want it documented that it is indeed happening and I’m hoping that Corporate Toyota will see this is a big problem and will find a fix and issue a recall. As for AutoNation they did what they could but I don’t appreciate that it took 4 1/2 hours for them to tell me that they don’t know what’s wrong. I actually was the 2nd person in line having appointment at 7 but was there at 6:45am and sat there and waited till 11:45am- that’s where they get a thumbs down- not being honest with me and not looking at my vehicle when my scheduled time came around- technician could not have been scratching his head that long- they need to be honest and say your truck sat for 3 1/2 hours before we looked at it

Most horrible dealership there is. I bought a tundra here back in December and not only did they damage my truck when it was stored there and covered it up and I found out about it when I took delivery I did a thorough search of the truck and found the damage they concealed with tape of the same color they made a mistake on the paperwork and I’ve been fighting with the dealership and multiple finance managers for my pink slip after I paid cash for my truck. They’re customer service is appalling and disgusting. I would avoid this place like Typhoid Mary was standing in the parking lot selling trucks. I called Toyota corporate and they refused to help me as well. This is a black eye to the Toyota brand as a whole and has pushed me away from them as a company. I still do not have my title. I’ve notified the BBB and that complaint was ignored by the dealership as well. I will never buy another Toyota. I will go back to Ford.

Went back multiple times to have my breaks inspected due to poor stopping power Each time they claimed my brakes were good , that’s a crock and they know it, not 2 days after last inspection they started to send me discount options to get my brake liners replaced! And continue to send me e mails stating the importance of replacing as soon as I possible. I’ll never do business with them again and do not recommend anyone buying a pre owned vehicle from this dealership, and one mor thing! Had to add on to existing review because They had me blocked. 2020 Dodge Ram FAULTY TRANSMISSION AND MAJOR ELECTRICAL ISSUES. I purchased a Dodge Ram from Toyota Cerritos about a month ago. I drove from San Diego to look at the truck and although I really liked the truck, I felt very rushed to make a decision for purchase. Victor was attempting to get me to sign paperwork before I had even made a decision. When we took it for a test drive I was only allowed to take it on a very short drive around the perimeter of the dealership. I was told I could NOT take it on the freeway due to "insurance regulations". Well after just a couple days of driving it I realized why they wouldn't let me take it on the freeway. The truck has a faulty transmission and major electrical and charging issues. The electrical issues included faulty head lights turning on and off, faulty charging system and electric running boards that do NOT work. They also lied about the electric running boards being factory and I was told they would be covered under the factory warranty. I was told they performed a "factory reset" and "turned them off" in the system. What they actually did was unplug them since they couldn't figure out what was wrong with them. The truck has been in and out of the dealership since the first week I bought it and I am still experiencing these issues. The Chrysler dealership would NOT diagnose or work on the running boards without a $200 diagnostic fee as they are aftermarket. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else for a new or used car.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND WASTE OF YOUR TIME!! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GO TO ANOTHER DEALERSHIP WITH BETTER BUSINESS ETHICS!! We were looking to buy a Toyota Sienna. Jason Nguyen was our sales man. Multiple problems arised while we were trying to sign the docs to purchase the car. The problems listed below: 1.) My husband and I took time off to sign the contract with Jason. Because he said the production date was that day. The manager Billy came and clarified that it was expected to be in production on that day but could be any other day. His words " today or 10 days from now" So basically we told one thing and in reality it was something else. Miraculously the car turned to production status when we were about to leave. 2.) We prenegotiated a 4K + mandatory assessory to buy the car. And Jason stated that it was ok by his manager Rudy. When it came time to sign the docs that didn't want to honor that price and assessories we choose. Unbelievable!! We wanted the car so we decided to take the assessories they forced upon us. We even tried to ask for a different assessories that costed more but they refused!! It was either buy the package or leave the car. Jason was even hesitant and reluctant to even ask Billy the manager if we could swap out for more expensive assessories that we would actually use. Until I asked him repeatedly. 3.) I wanted to finance through my credit unit. But they wanted to run my credit. I refused. Because it was unnecessary. Jason finally said it was ok they didn't run it. But eventually that wasn't the truth!! 4) Both Jason and the manager Billy said there was another person there to buy the car and was pressuring us to hurry up and seal the deal after we signed some paperwork. If we signed the paperwork shouldn't it be reserved for us because we're working on the deal! 5) When it came time on paying for the car they said they would have to run my credit to buy the car through Toyota financing. When I asked for any other option they said cash. I guessed they didn't expect I was capable of it. And I said ok. And Billy the manner ask you "do you have the money now?" I said who in the world walks around with 60k in their purse and that i needed 15 mins to go to the bank down the street. They said no. The other option was pay half check and credit card. And still wanting the car I said Ok. I guess they didn't expect that either. Finally Billy said Toyota financing is the only option to buy the car. But then why give me the other options then. Really frustrating!! I told him it is ridiculous that is the only way to purchase the car and you can't even purchase it with all cash. His response was " cash is out of style now" Unbelievable he would say such a thing to a customer and he is a manager!! I told him I'm buying cash and suddenly there is a new rule he just found out you could only purchase the car through their financing. Even before coming down to the store I spoke to Jason to clarify if financing the car through them was the only way to purchase the car and he said no. So basically this dealer just wants you to go in waste 4+ hours of your time and jump through hoops and jerk you around in order to MAYBE buy the car. And you could only purchase the car if you finance through them. They will see your hard worked cold hard 60k cash as "out of style"!!! They will never be up front and honest with you on the whole deal from the beginning to end. I would never step foot into this dealer again even if the car was free. I am a business owner and I can tell you they have NO business ethics!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND WASTE OF YOUR TIME!! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GO TO ANOTHER DEALERSHIP WITH BETTER BUSINESS ETHICS!! We were looking to buy a Toyota Sienna. Jason Nguyen was our sales man. Multiple problems arised while we were trying to sign the docs to purchase the car. The problems listed below: 1.) My husband and I took time off to sign the contract with Jason. Because he said the production date was that day. The manager Billy came and clarified that it was expected to be in production on that day but could be any other day. His words " today or 10 days from now" So basically we told one thing and in reality it was something else. Miraculously the car turned to production status when we were about to leave. 2.) We prenegotiated a 4K + mandatory assessory to buy the car. And Jason stated that it was ok by his manager Rudy. When it came time to sign the docs that didn't want to honor that price and assessories we choose. Unbelievable!! We wanted the car so we decided to take the assessories they forced upon us. We even tried to ask for a different assessories that costed more but they refused!! It was either buy the package or leave the car. Jason was even hesitant and reluctant to even ask Billy the manager if we could swap out for more expensive assessories that we would actually use. Until I asked him repeatedly. 3.) I wanted to finance through my credit unit. But they wanted to run my credit. I refused. Because it was unnecessary. Jason finally said it was ok they didn't run it. But eventually that wasn't the truth!! 4) Both Jason and the manager Billy said there was another person there to buy the car and was pressuring us to hurry up and seal the deal after we signed some paperwork. If we signed the paperwork shouldn't it be reserved for us because we're working on the deal! 5) When it came time on paying for the car they said they would have to run my credit to buy the car through Toyota financing. When I asked for any other option they said cash. I guessed they didn't expect I was capable of it. And I said ok. And Billy the manner ask you "do you have the money now?" I said who in the world walks around with 60k in their purse and that i needed 15 mins to go to the bank down the street. They said no. The other option was pay half check and credit card. And still wanting the car I said Ok. I guess they didn't expect that either. Finally Billy said Toyota financing is the only option to buy the car. But then why give me the other options then. Really frustrating!! I told him it is ridiculous that is the only way to purchase the car and you can't even purchase it with all cash. His response was " cash is out of style now" Unbelievable he would say such a thing to a customer and he is a manager!! I told him I'm buying cash and suddenly there is a new rule he just found out you could only purchase the car through their financing. Even before coming down to the store I spoke to Jason to clarify if financing the car through them was the only way to purchase the car and he said no. So basically this dealer just wants you to go in waste 4+ hours of your time and jump through hoops and jerk you around in order to MAYBE buy the car. And you could only purchase the car if you finance through them. They will see your hard worked cold hard 60k cash as "out of style"!!! They will never be up front and honest with you on the whole deal from the beginning to end. I would never step foot into this dealer again even if the car was free. I am a business owner and I can tell you they have NO business ethics!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!

I am not satisfied after having my car serviced with Cerritos Toyota. The service department never notified me that my car was finished and ready for pick up. When I went to pick up my car my Camry was missing the XSE emblem. Poor communication and poor service. I advise you use another dealer.

I would have given a 5-star if it’s not to the fact that we had to return the car back the next day due to oil leaks that caused burning smell when engine is hot. I hate talking on the phone so I loved that I was able to make an appointment online with this location! Came to get the hybrid system in my Prius updated since there was a recall on it and the estimate time was 2-3 hours and it was done in 2! They took my car right away and brought it to me within minutes when it was ready. They don’t do car washes but they do have a free car wash deal with a local business and it was great! Would come back for all my Prius needs

Tried to score a Supra at MSRP, but gave up waiting when Ukraine was attacked. AN came down a little on the markup. I'm OK with the price. When the car came in, my contact wanted me to come in right away, but I'm over 100 miles away and needed to prepare. So, I'm ready to come in to dealer, but then I'm told car needs software update that will require a day or 2. When I get there car still isn't ready. You can't even get a cup of coffee out of the dealer while you wait. But it finally came out nice & shiny. Take one star off the rating for not knowing the Supra needs a S/W update.

A general inspection just includes an oil change and visually inspecting the vehicle without topping off other vehicle liquids. They scalp you here by only completely cleaning out the systems and charging you more for it. All I asked for was a general inspection but had to wait another 10 minutes, as the person helping me typed in tons of other stuff, before my car was even inspected, yet. To change out all your vehicle liquids, rotating tires, and cleaning filters, it would cost over $1,700. I bought my vehicle here back in 2014, but I won’t be going back, except for maybe an oil change. They’re taking advantage of the rise in prices more than they should, as far as I’m concerned. I plan on taking classes to service my own vehicle, since it would cost me only $250 to learn to service my vehicle, myself.

I had to write you this evening to tell you about the excellent service we have been fortunate to experience at your dealership. As you are now aware, I purchased a 2021 Toyota RAV4-Prime XSE almost exactly one year ago. I had such a good experience purchasing that car, I came back to your dealership last week to purchase a 2022 RAV4-Prime XSE from the same salesman. I was having some problems with sensors that didn’t seem to be working. I wrote an email to your service department and Michelle called me this morning. She listened to my concerns and said I should check out my car to see if I did have the sensors on my bumpers and if I didn’t see the round black spots that my car did not come equipped with them. After inspecting my car, I realized I did not have the sensors. I then wrote to you and Nicholas and told you how disappointed we were and what could be done. Less than 30 minutes after I wrote the email, you had directed your General Sales Manager, James, to call me. The first thing he said was that if I was unhappy with the car purchase, he would take the car back. He then went on to explain that what I was looking for was the Premium Package and listed all the things in it and told me the cost of the package. He further said that all the RAV4 Primes coming in were spoken for and none had the Premium Package, but he would be glad to put me on a waiting list for one. He gave me all day to make up our minds if we wanted to return the car. Speaking with my wife during the day, we had several questions come up. I called James back several times and he answered my questions very patiently. About 6PM I called him again and said that we would like to come up to talk with him in person to get further clarification on a couple of the technical items. He said he would have Albert Barraza assist us. We met Albert at 7:30 and he spent almost an hour with us answering our questions, sitting in our car with us and going through and adjusting all the technical areas we had questions on. He was fantastic! He certainly assisted us in our decision to keep the car. Another person that needs to be recognized is the Credit Manager, Aaron, who assisted us in closing our deal. He was the best Credit Manager we have ever dealt with. Lastly, Albert had Mariano Miranda correct the error of someone installing two paper plates in the back of our car and no paper plates in the front. Mariano with a big smile on his face, jumped in to take care of that problem. You should feel very proud to have such talented employees working for you. They certainly took care of my wife and I in the process of purchasing the car and helping us solve our concerns in a very positive manner. Thank You,

Last Feb.5,2022, I bought a RAV 4 XLE Premium 2022. We finished signing in all papers work at almost 8 pm. Two days after at early morning a dash board notification popped up saying malfunction headlights system, pre collision system malfunction, LTA malfunction. I went to Toyota service center and the the lady service advisor told me that they cannot repair something that is not showing on the dash board at that time even though I showed a pictures of the notification on my phone. She advised to leave the car over the weekend or come back when the malfunction signs appear again. In which I did the next day. Pedro another service advisor assisted me and told me that it was the camera and sensor that is not getting enough voltage and it will take a week or so for replacement. To make the story short I am driving a stinking loaner car a RAV 4 with 8000 miles with a 1/4 gas for 2 weeks with no guaranty when the parts will be arriving. This makes me wonder how the quality of Toyota became so vulnerable to this lack of human attention to details and quality controls. I spoke to a Service Manager, to check what options are available and was advised that only used car are allowed for exchange and even blamed me for the malfunction of the car. Toyota please don’t let your quality go down the drain. I hope your executive can have this same issues so you can pay attention to all details. Also I recommend double checking before buying new a car at Cerritos Toyota I felt so cheated on the safety of the vehicle and compromise the the safety of my family. Consider checking the customer feedback before buying! What do you think is the best compromise to regain my confidence with AutoNation Toyota Cerritos?

I went to purchase a vehicle on January 25, 2022. I worked with Christain Diaz, who sold me a 2007 Saturn ION and stated that the vehicle had gone through inspection and was ready to go. Upon financing the vehicle, I was told that I had five days or 250 miles to take the vehicle back if I no longer wanted it. Upon driving the vehicle off the lot, I got about 50 miles before the check engine light came on. I called the dealer and was told to bring it in to look at it. I had only been there for about 25 minutes when Christian and a mechanic came over and told me they had turned off the light and that it could be the catalytic converter and that I could get a used one from the junkyard. I explained to Christian that I financed the vehicle through Toyota and would like them to fix it. Christian continued to tell me that I had purchased an "as is" vehicle and that I would be responsible for fixing it. This has caused nothing but headaches when I asked to speak to a manager and was told that James Yates, who was the General Sales Manager, would call me and never did. My son called and left a message for the General Manager, Kevin, to call us back, but he never did. I just want my vehicle fixed with no money out of my pocket and to make sure that it gets a full inspection so I know that there are no other issues. I'm paying almost $7,000 for a vehicle that I only had for 2 weeks and am being told I need to pay for repairs when I took it back within 3 days!?! I am beyond frustrated with Autonation Toyota Cerritos and want them to do the right thing and fix my car! Let's see if someone actually takes responsibility and calls me to resolve this matter.

I went to purchase a vehicle on January 25, 2022. I worked with Christain Diaz, who sold me a 2007 Saturn ION and stated that the vehicle had gone through inspection and was ready to go. Upon financing the vehicle, I was told that I had five days or 250 miles to take the vehicle back if I no longer wanted it. Upon driving the vehicle off the lot, I got about 50 miles before the check engine light came on. I called the dealer and was told to bring it in to look at it. The service department is really good. I have had two different service managers over the last dozen or so years and both have been really good. They understand what cars need when you mention a problem and get if fixed. They tell me how long the service should take and are pretty close in thier estimates. I have had NO service complaints with Cerritos Toyota.

I would refrain from coming to this dealership service department as they don’t take accountability and fail to make sure every part is installed correctly. They also make it seem like you are a nuisance by trying to resolve the issues left in your vehicle.

I recommend Henry for those searching for a transparent transaction. I intended to purchase, outright, but was given extra incentive to go through financing. Eric Mckenzie, in the finance dept., was upfront and efficient. I ended up with a better deal than I had anticipated. Excellent car-buying experience.

I saw a 2022 Toyota Cross XLE advertised on Toyota Cerritos (Autonation) for $29,710.00. When I inquired about this car Nicholas stated it was $34,000.00+ How can a company post a car at one cost and then switch!
